| Korean Society of Spine Surgery was founded in 1984 and has since become the longest-running organization specializing in the spine in Korea, while the number of registered members and published papers are still growing steadily. | Korean Society of Spine Surgery endeavors to create optimal care for patients with spinal diseases through education for both professionals and patients as well as the support of research by its members in the name of advancing the academic field of spinal surgery. | Korean Society of Spine Surgery has continuously tried to contribute to health promotion of human beings, driving 3 strategies of ‘Globalization of the society’, ‘Communication with the people’, and ‘Reinforcement of individual member’s creative capabilities’ and 10 priority projects aimed at being a society of public trust and scientific leadership. |
