Submission Guidelines

The KSSS 2025 Organizing Committee cordially invites you to submit abstracts for oral presentations and e-posters in professional areas relevant to the work of spine research as well as evidence-based practice spine surgery. All congress abstracts must be submitted online via the “Online Submission System.” Submitted abstracts will be reviewed by the Scientific Program Committee. We would like to ask for abstracts that address or discuss diversity in reviews and analyze from diverse viewpoints and angles and look forward to your keen participation and interest.

Presentation Type: Oral, E-poster, Either

The deadline for abstract submission is January 10 (Fri), 2025 (Korea Standard Time). Abstract submission is available only through the official website: www.ksss2025.org. Please submit your abstract for oral and e-poster presentation following our submission guidelines on the official website.

Rules of Abstract Submission

● All required fields must be completely filled with correct information. Any incorrect information will automatically be dropped from the abstract evaluation process. (Submitters are responsible for all errors.)

● All abstracts must be written in English including Purpose, Materials & Methods, Results, Conclusion, and Keywords.

● Abstracts are limited to 400 words in English and should be structured into the following headings: Introduction, Materials & Methods, Results, Conclusion. Figures, tables, graphs, and images are not allowed.

● If an author is affiliated with the specific hospital as well as university, please enter the name of the institute for which he/she works.

● Presenters will receive an email confirming of the abstract(s).

● After going through the review and submitting the abstract, you should register within the registration due date. Otherwise, your abstracts will be dropped from the registration process.

Submission Instruction

● Step 1: Prepare Abstract(s)

→ Abstracts should be written and presented in English.
→ Authors’ information including correct email addresses is required.
→ Abstracts should consist of Purpose, Materials & Methods, Results, Conclusion.
→ Each abstract should be up to 400 words.
→ Graphics, figures, and tables are NOT allowed in the abstract.

● Step 2: Log on to the official website (www.ksss2025.org)
● Step 3: Click the “Abstract Submission” icon at the bottom of the page and sign up first.

Oral Presentation

Once the abstract is accepted, instructions for the presentation will be sent to a submitter by email. All oral presentations must be presented in English.
All presentation materials should be submitted through the Podium page on the KSSS 2025 website.

Confirmation of Abstract Submission

An acknowledgment of abstract submission will be automatically sent to abstract(s) submitter, first author by e-mail upon completion of e-submission. It is responsibility of each individual to verify the acknowledgments and carefully review the submitted abstract(s), noting that in some cases during the submission process, such as characters becoming illegible. If you do not receive an Abstract Submission Confirmation e-mail in 5 days, please contact secretariat via.
